Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I really need a nurse to take care of me after plastic surgery?
While every recovery is unique, having a professional nurse by your side offers invaluable benefits.
Our skilled nurses ensure your medications are managed safely, monitor your vital signs and wound healing, assist with mobility, and provide expert care that reduces complications and promotes faster, smoother recovery.
Beyond the medical support, we help ease stress on you and your loved ones, allowing you to focus entirely on healing with comfort and confidence.
2. Do you work with my surgeon?
We are an independent service and not affiliated with any specific provider. We work alongside your surgeon’s instructions to support safe healing.

3. Do you accept insurance?
We are a private-pay service and do not bill insurance.

4. Do you provide medications?
No. Clients must obtain their prescriptions directly from their provider. We can administer them per your surgeon’s instructions and our RN protocols.

5. Do you provide overnight post-op care?
Yes. We offer overnight recovery support to monitor comfort, assist with mobility, manage medications, and ensure safety while you rest, providing peace of mind throughout the night.

6. How soon should I book aftercare?
We recommend booking your post-op care as soon as your surgery is scheduled to ensure availability, especially for day-of-surgery, overnight, or multi-day packages. Early booking guarantees a nurse tailored to your procedure and timeline.

7. What’s the minimum number of hours?
Our Recovery Essentials Visit is available in 1-hour increments for quick check-ins, while most standard packages start at 6 hours and can increase to multiple days. We tailor care to your needs and can extend hours as necessary.

10. What do I need at home before I’m discharged?

11. What’s included in a post-op visit?
Each visit includes incision and drain care, medication assistance, vital signs monitoring if needed, mobility and bathroom support, comfort positioning, garment assistance, and education to ensure safe, effective recovery at home.
